I know many of you have been here through many personal losses prior to this one. Henry is hitting me very hard because even though, yes, we knew he had cancer….We thought we had more time. Things were going ok. I have never experienced a pet’s ending be so traumatic. I am struggling to compartmentalize as I normally would. My silence does not mean I am not working. Everyone handles grief differently. I am quiet and angry…. And a bit broken at the moment. I always work though. I do not know how to not do that. It will all be fine. There is no other option.
