It was raining this day where we lived, and we were both feeling a little bummed out about it, so we got in the car and drove until we had crossed the mountains and found sunshine. And of course we celebrated by loving each other and playing outside in our favorite way! It was perfect! It was also great, because when we got back to the rain, neither of us were upset about it and we were able to see the beauty in it, without feeling resentful. It was a good reminder for us that getting out and playing in our own way is so important for our mental health, both as individuals and in our relationship.
